Australia, New Zealand and Korea
January 2012 - We are back from another big trip and let me tell you: it was great! We saw Australia and kangaroos, we saw New Zealand and sheep, we saw Korea and palaces: we saw it all and more! My first attempt at making French macarons... I didn't use any coloring, therefore they look a bit pale, but they taste surprisingly good! I have created three different flavors: white chocolate ganache, milk chocolate ganache and orange. Those delicious little things usually cost $2.00 to $3.00 a piece! I wanted to know how much it would cost me. Verdict: $0.20 a piece and 35 minutes of my time. Did I mention that they do taste very good? ;-) Next time I'll use natural coloring and I'll work on giving them a better shape.

 Monday, January 02, 2012 - Korea
I know: we have been on vacation for quite a long time. ;-) After Australia and New Zealand, we have visited Seoul (South Korea). The culture shock was definitely there and I loved it. The pictures of our exploration are now available in the “Photo Album” (Travel section). They are only accessible to the people who have a password (sorry for the others). And now: can you guess where we have just visited? Let me give you a clue: majestic landscapes, Lord of the Rings. Yep, after Australia, we have visited New Zealand: Fiordland, Dunedin, Akaroa, Wellington, Rotorua and Auckland.
